The Energy Smart Students Program is a statewide energy-efficiency education program for K- 12 classroom teachers sponsored by the NYSERDA and the New York Energy $martSM Program. The Energy Smart Students Program, in partnership with the National Energy Education Development (NEED) Project, will provide curriculum materials and training for this statewide program. Whether you are a science, technology, math, language arts, or social studies teacher, energy can be integrated into all that you teach. Before we send you our classroom materials, we would like you to attend one of our classes. For a list of training options please contact Todd Rogers at 1-800-658-5753, trogers@need.org. Reimbursement for substitute teachers will be available after you have attended, if your district would like to apply. |
