NYSERDA promotes continuous energy performance improvements in hospitals and institutional markets. Programs such as the New Construction Program are designed to accelerate the implementation of energy efficiency and renewable energy resources in the design, construction, and operation of hospitals and institutions.
Encouraging improvements in energy efficiency and the use of renewable technologies (i.e., photovolatics) in building design will result in reduced electrical demand and cost. Other programs such as the Smart Equipment Choices Program, the C/I Performance Program, and others, offer incentives for improvements in energy efficiency. |
