Regulatory Language for State Equipment Standards
“Luminaire” means a complete lighting unit consisting of a fluorescent lamp or lamps, together with parts designed to distribute the light, to position and protect such lamps, and to connect such lamps to the power supply through the ballast. Standards shall not cover vandal proof fixtures or other products not specifically identified in the table.
The minimum efficiency standards for fluorescent luminaries shall be the levels set forth in the table below determined in accordance with the test procedures set forth in NEMA LE5-2001 (see section 506.6 of this Part).
