Adirondack Lakes Survey Corporation (ALSC)
A not-for-profit corporation established in 1984. ALSC's Adirondack Long Term Monitoring program (ALTM) samples 52 lakes monthly and 3 streams weekly, and analyzes for 21 chemical parameters. Available are ALTM data, as well as fisheries and chemistry data collected during the 1984-1987 Adirondack Lakes Survey (ALS), and Acid Rain and the Adirondacks: A Research Summary.

An unincorporated association of electric generating companies, and electric and gas transmission and distribution companies that provide energy services in the State.
NARSTO
NARSTO is non-binding partnership open to science agencies, regulatory agencies, regulated industries, academic institutions, environmentalists, and public interests groups in Canada, Mexico and the United States. Their mission is to plan, coordinate, and facilitate comprehensive, long-term, policy-relevant scientific research and assessment of primary and secondary pollutant species over the North American continent. Available at this site is the document, "Particulate Matter Science for Policy Makers," partially supported by NYSERDA, as well as the report entitled, "Improving Emissions Inventories for Effective Air Quality Management Across North America".
National Atmospheric Deposition Program (NADP)
A nationwide network of precipitation monitoring sites. The network is a cooperative effort between many different groups, including the State Agricultural Experiment Stations, U.S. Geological Survey, U.S. Department of Agriculture, and numerous other governmental and private entities.

USEPA Clean Air Status and Trends Network (CASTNET)
