Environmentally friendly landscaping can also reduce consumption of water and pesticides, help control noise and air pollution, and serve as an educational tool for students.
This course presents information on designing landscapes to provide shade for HVAC equipment, buildings, and paved areas, as well as managing environmentally friendly landscapes to create safe and enjoyable outdoor spaces. The course is worth one hour of continuing education credit in the area of Health, Safety, Welfare.
