Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI)
Notice of Auction
In 2010 the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) will be participating in 4 quarterly regional auctions for the sale of carbon dioxide allowances under the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI) in accordance with the CO2 Allowance Auction Program (Title 21 NYCRR Part 507). The quarterly auctions will be conducted on March 10, June 9, September 8, and December 1 2010, from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. ET respectively. In each of these auctions, NYSERDA will be making available for sale 15,136,022 allowances per auction from the 2010 Allocation Year and 756,801 allowances per auction from the 2012 Allocation Year. All parties are eligible to participate in this auction provided they become qualified and meet all other participation requirements by each auction deadline. Applications for participation are available at www.RGGI.org.
