CEA Roadmap
NYSERDA has committed to developing a roadmap to illustrate the goals, challenges and priority actions related to the growth of the Controlled Environment Agriculture industry in New York State.
The first step in beginning the roadmap was enlisting several stakeholders, including NYSERDA, to write vision statements regarding how they see the future of the CEA industry. These vision statements were distributed as part of the CEA brochure that was developed for the 7th Annual Innovations in Agriculture Conference that was held in April 2007 in Syracuse. At the conference, several leaders in the industry discussed the challenges they have encountered, new technology developments, as well as market, business, and financing opportunities.
