NYSERDA Moves to Larkin at Exchange Building; Energy Efficiency and Economic Benefits at Regional Office
The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) today relocated its Buffalo Regional Office to the rebuilt Larkin Building at Exchange, according to Paul D. Tonko, NYSERDA President and CEO. The new address is Suite 821 at 726 Exchange Street, Buffalo, NY 14210.
"The Larkin at Exchange Building, originally built for a large, innovative manufacturing and marketing firm and has been recently updated successfully through modern construction practices. Similarly, NYSERDA is recognized for its innovation and high standards for new and renovated building efficiency. We continue to offer NYSERDA's strong, active presence in Buffalo and Western New York," Tonko said.
NYSERDA's regional office offers residential, commercial and industrial electric utility customers information and incentives for its leading-edge energy efficiency, economic development and environmentally sound performance programs for all kinds of structures, including schools, health facilities as well as selected transportation and municipal water issues.
NYSERDA was established by law in l975 as a public benefit corporation. NYSERDA provides energy-related technical and financial packaging assistance to businesses and institutions to promote energy efficiency and economic development, as well as providing energy research and development programs that promote safe and economical energy production efficiency technologies in New York State. NYSERDA also analyzes the effect of New York's energy, regulatory and environmental policies on the State's business, institutional, and residential energy consumers.
